Abeja Reina - Limited Edition - Sold Out
Abeja Reina. Pronounced A-beh-ha Ray-na, Spanish for Queen Bee, this limited-edition lot is as sweet and sophisticated as its namesake.
A cup exhibiting the flavour notes of red plum, kiwi, brown sugar and honey, this complex symphony comes courtesy of the H17 Geisha varietal, a unique hybrid nurtured by Alejo Castro Kahle in the volcanic soils of Costa Rica's Alajuela Valley.
Located on the slopes of Barva and Poás Volcano in Central and West Valley and in Saints region, the estate carries a legacy of 200 years backing the cultivation practices.
Grown at a majestic 5,000+ feet, these beans are nature's royalty. The natural processing method unlocks a captivating balance of acidity and fruity sweetness, further accentuated by our city roast profile.
Our Abeja Reina isn't picky about her court. She shines in both filter brews and espressos. Enjoy her bold sweetness and intriguing complexity as a shot, or let her full character blossom in a relaxed, filter brew. Whether you prefer your coffee black or adorned with a touch of creamy milk, Abeja Reina will reign supreme.
This is a limited-edition lot of only 5kgs. Don't miss your chance to experience coffee royalty!
